There exsists a possibility....

...of Erica and I coming back to AM (and for me at least to WBC). I'm unsure as to how high this possibility is at this time. I guess it depends on if people would be welcome to that?

We aren't looking to do 25 mans at all. We wouldn't be able to anyways as we are now PST and that simply wouldn't work. However we are going to try and put a "late night" (Defined as running on PST but late for ESTers) 10man group together and do that.

The server we are currently on is full of fail in that just about everyone on it is a 10-13yr old asshat. We can't stand it any longer and we know people on AM.

How do people feel about this?

We're always trying to do things better. here's the notes I took on who was in/wanting to get in on Tuesday. As I said in guild, we'll try to work people in, with respect to class/role/experience/performance.

Also, if you want into 25 mans, kick ass in 10 mans and send us/me evidence! Also, take note of how many healers are in: 5. Out of like 40 people. If you want to be in a raid, the number one best way right now is probably to respec/reroll healer.

I put this together today...we all want the chopper!...so this may help:

There are ten daily quests I've found to help with the rep grind to exalted with Alliance Vanguard...(you get Vanguard rep as you amass rep with the Explorer's League, Frostborn, Valiance Expedition, and Silver Covenant) as you receive rep with these various factions, half of that will go to Alliance Vanguard. If you reach exalted with any of the factions needed for Vanguard rep, still do the quests, you'll still get Vanguard rep!!!

In Storm Peaks:

Pushed too Far - it gives 250 Frostborn Rep

In Howling Fjord:

Steel Gate Patrol - the daily where you shoot down the gargoyles, at 80 no exclamation point will show, you have to talk to the quest giver...- gives 250 Explorer's League Rep.
Break the Blockade - again, no exclamation point at 80... - 250 Valiance Rep

In Icecrown:

Assault by Air - 250 Valiance Rep.
Assault by Ground - 250 Valiance Rep.

To Whom It May Concern,

I have a small issue. 1st let me say that you guys have known me for a long time. I know I haven't been with the guild since from the beginning, but you all know me from the good ole days of MC. Although I respect your decision to take Fullcion, I do have to say I feel like I been here more and show up for more raids then he does.

For the 1st night of doing a raid run is alot of excitement and I know you are doing your best to fit people in. As a 1st night for the new material and having a realm 1st kill, it was really wonderful feeling left out. I even called in sick on Friday so I can get to 80 to be ready for raid on Sunday. I don't even care about loot at this point. The best thing was I been told that Fullcion was taking in because someone wanted to see how he did? How about seeing how I do? I consider some of you friends. I known many of you for some time now. Would you leave one of your friends out on a 1st raid night? Unless I am just viewed as non-friend. I am tough you can be truthful. Even if I need some constructive criticism. Just tell me.

Is there something I need to do to show that I really like you guys and want to do what I can to be a part of the guild? I know I took some time off, I had a vacation planned for Europe for some time. I always try to show up for raids when I can before the expansion. Do you blame me because I took some time to rest before WofTL? I am not someone who plays just because we have a new expansion. I really like the game and this guild. I just hope this meesage gets through.

Raiding Schedule

Normal Raiding (by which we mean 7:30pm on Tue/Wed/Thu) starts again on Tuesday, Dec 2nd. Of course there will be another minor break for Xmas/New Years in a few weeks, but whatever!

This means points will be awarded and spent at each raid. Get your rep enchants, heroic gear, crafted stuff, consumables together! We'll be aiming to wipe out Naxx25 that week.

[b]Archavon:[/b]

We had some debate about how to handle stuff like archavon. Obviously if we happen to do archavon on an official night, it's easy to handle -- but given the ease of the encounter (you could probably do the 25 man with 15 well equipped people) and the fact that I want people to be relentlessly crushing horde in Wintergrasp at every possible opportunity, and that it drops pvp gear too, I think it might be best to just have it be a totally ad-hoc raid - just do it whenever it's up and you want to.

Also, because it's kind of weird in that if 30 people go to WG to help, then only 25 get in to the raid -- so that brings up annoyance in determining who gets in. So how do people feel about making it worth no points, charged no points, no scheduled plan -- and the person who puts together the raid gets to determine how loot is awarded? Just like any heroic or 10 man? We're of course open to other suggestions -- I know we did it differently the last few times, but we were trying to get a feel for how it worked, so nothing is written in stone. (ha ha)

[b]Jewelcrafting patterns:[/b]

Mathron wants to know what people want. Go check out that JC thread below and see if there's anything on that list that you will need, and let him (or others) know what to get. I know lee and I want that int/manarestore meta at some point...

[b]General Things To Do Before Dec 2nd Raid:[/b]

Get Sons of Hodir rep for shoulder enchants. There are 3 dailies to do pre-honored, and 3 more at honored. Get out to Storm Peaks and work on them. Plus, do the whole original quest chain for them if you haven't. This is the equivalent of scryer/aldor rep, so get on it!

Practice the malygos drake thing in Coldarra -- the quest name is "Aces High." If people come to Malygos and are like "how does this dragon thing work?" we will totally slap you.

Frost Resist gear: we're not totally sure whether or not we need FrR gear for Sapphiron, but it can't hurt. It might be like "you need it at first, but not later" or something -- but we can't go wrong making things easier. I can make the cloth stuff, I'm sure any of the many LW we have can make the mail/leather and I think someone has to be able to make the plate since Jim has the set.

Do 10 mans! As we said before, 10 mans are the place to show that you are awesome, and the loot really is nearly as good as the 25's. Most importantly though, the fights are nearly identical. Get out there and do some. Get practice with your 80 role/spec, get practice on the boss fights, tweak your performance and impress everyone with your amazingness.

Also: enjoy the holidays. Eat lots of food. Minor stuff like that.

universal mount macro

This will correctly use a land mount if you are in Dalaran or Wintegrasp -- instead of right now, when most macros think you're in a flyable place and then fail. It will also properly exit a "vehicle" mount like a 3-person mammoth -- since most macros will fail if you /dismount. I assume it will also bail you from other normal vehicles.

You have to replace the 2 with the id of the mount you want to be your ground mount and the 1 with the id of your flying mount. To get the id of your mount, you open your mount interface and count which number mount is the one you want. i.e. the first mount on the first page is 1, the first mount on the 2nd page is 13, etc...

if you get a new mount you will need to change the id of your mounts in this macro.

well the mobo in my brand new setup cooked it self last night, i originally thought it was the graphics cards but it turned out to be the mobo after i took it to a place and they tested it. The guys are tiger direct are overnighting a replacement as its 4 days old out of the box which is retarded, worst part is that the mobo is an asus and cost me like 200bux :(

My laptop has 1 gig of space on the hdd so i cant play wotlk till i get my desktop fixed which sucks :( no more late night vent sex puneet im sorry

Alliance --> Howling Fjord

I highly highly recommend that everyone go to Howling Fjord first in WOTLK (Thursday) from the northern dock in Menethil. It's just better for Alliance, and I think Borean Tundra (the other starting zone) is going to have more horde, since it's just better for them.

Plus it will make finding groups easier -- everyone will be doing the same group q's and instances.

So, please do everything you can to to be at raids over the next few weeks, and we can definitely do it.

If you're a main tank (prevaid, velker, veriann, twizz) or a priest (ellen, me, sam, UV, willy) or a warlock tank (uhhhhh oscorky?) it's especially important. Let me know if you can't be at a specific night and we'll see what we can do to get a replacement for you.

It really sucks to be in Black Temple 3 weeks before Lich King. Let's not do that unless it's 100% unavoidable. Plus you can go pug it with people now.

As some know, my ghetto desk fan cooling my cpu finally failed when i turned the fan off for a few hours while rendering a movie. The cpu is shot aswell as the mobo. Im looking into the intel quad core 2.33ghz or the amd phenom, not exactly sure which one to get. From what i remember we have a few computer savy people in the guild so id like their input. I already have 2 9800 sli gpu's aswell as a 750 psu. Id most likely have to get new ram. Im looking for advice on which runs wow and vista ultimate the best. I also do alot of blu ray burning and lots of video rendering.

im looking to spend about 300-500 on the ram cpu and mobo
