Talent Tree Calculator on Yarr! Tools

5 pts into Disc, and then go hog wild in Shadow! Hehe. They put in all the fixes as talents, but that's okay -- since they fixed everything. Escape method? Fade. Horror effect? 4 seconds! Interruption? 100% protection.

The interrupt protection is the real deal sealer. Haste won't be a negative factor in PvP anymore!

Oh, and an AoE.

Look at those final 3 disc talents: Grace, Divine Aegis and Rapture. Those are so amazing.

Looks like I'll be leveling my priest first in the expansion! Definitely looks like a lot of fun -- both Shadow and Disc!

Though Shadow definitely looks pretty overpowered in that state, haha. Horror effect on Scream, pushback immunity in Shadow Form, a 30 second cooldown snare-removal, AND a Shield Wall self-effect. Pretty crazy!

11/0/60 looks like an incredible PvP spec.
Then again, so do the level 80 versions of current Disc PvP specs.

Yeah... these talents so far are making me seriously question whether or not I will continue on with my feral druid as my main. I already highly enjoy my shadow priest, and everything about the new talents just make it seems even more fun.

It's like... everything they added for feral druids is what the other melee classes already have, but still just a little so-so in comparison. But these new priest abilities... they all look really fun, and in all the talent trees. Of course, I haven't seen the new abilities for feral druid that are just trainable (not talents), so who knows. they could've made some really cool changes there

Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

PS: AoE for spriest? WIN

PPS: Oh yeah, and too bad about spriests needing spell hit now. Oh well... I guess more reduced mana costs is a sufficient trade off.

Well, ya still only need 13% spell hit. Even with the 5% +hit in destro, locks still need 16%...our aggro dump happens to exist in the demo school...there's no +hit there to get...

I do agree that the priest changes, especially disc and shadow, are lookin' pretty interesting. Spell interrupt resist is tied to Fade though, right? I wonder how long it lasts after you fade.

what is the horror effect?

yeah the AOE seems insane when you think about it combined with vamp embrace and touch.

Death Coil = Horror effect

It's attached to Psychic Scream for 2 talent points deep in the tree.

so like not negatable by WotF and anti-fear stuff?

its just retarded how none of my classes, rogue/hunter/pally (sort-of), have talents yet. though i play warrior sometimes and those are amazing. SUDDEN DEATH.

its kinda funny if youve played WC3; some of these abilities are hero abilities and even ultimates. bladestorm, shockwave, starfall, metamorphosis, banish (which wow calls cripple). windwalk/mirror image would be awesome on rogue!
