| (NEW – Level 75) Tricks of the Trade: The current party or raid member becomes the target of your Tricks of the Trade. The threat caused by your next attack and all actions taken for 6 sec afterwards will be transferred to the target. In addition, all damage caused by the target is increased by 15% during this time. 30 sec cooldown. (Surprise! Yes, this is the new group/raid utility ability. We haven’t put any stacking protection on it yet but we’ll need one type of solution or other to prevent the need for 5 rogue Trick rotations. Note also that you cannot use this ability on yourself.)
wow. you could put that on a hunter every time its CD is up and FD would make it so he doesn't load up the threat too much.
Relentless Strikes moved to Subtlety Tier 1, made 5 ranks for 4/8/12/16/20% chance.
Aaaaaaaaaaaand by making relentless 'easier to get' for all specs they nerf the bejeezus out of it. now you have to spec sub.
The Wounding Poison change seems like more of a nerf than anything vs anyone with a poison cleanse. I know from my perspective when I'm trying to get poisons off of someone, it's the Crippling Poison that I'm really after. As long as they're sitting on someone the wound poison will go up faster than I can cleanse it if their teammates are doing their job correctly anyway (or their partners will do so much burst it doesn't matter how much healing I can do, i.e. RMP/3 dps 3s or 4 dps 5s).
Essentially this means rogues are going to have a nearly impossible time keeping Crippling up vs any half-decent Druid, Paladin, or Shaman teams as anything but mutilate. Wounding Poison going up to 50% immediately can help with target swapping, I guess, but that's not really a rogue's strength nor the reason they're so useful. Keeping someone in place long enough to wear them down or have your partner burst them is a rogue's main utility -- and that's definitely going to be hurting a little with only 1 application of wound to remove.
edit: The funny thing about it is that Mutilate rogues are currently the most burst-y of them, but they don't have the option of quick target switches due to lack of mobility, so the change is pretty irrelevant for them.
Though I guess a lot of the new Subtlety talents lend themselves very well to quick swaps... but to get those you give up a lot of sustained pressure and energy efficiency.
yeah i can see sub rogues having a rough time with this. assass rogues could stack deadly poison, wound poison and crip usign deadly brew without much issue. combat rogues just got 70% snare on their blade twisting; that along with the new unfair advantage (dodge -> free hit for you) may actually make them playable in pvp.
new shadow dance is really cool.
