| Recently I've been thinking

Might be a pretty good PVP spec. Get a crab and a rogue and healer for partners.
Rogue keeps deadly poison and crip on their healer. Hunter is primary for control via entrapment, scatter, pet snare, intimidate, and to keep up aimed shot + drain with viper. This spec has most of the damage coming from the pet, and with the defensive talents + pet talents it should be pretty durable. Pet can also have roar of sacrifice up roughly 50% of the time to make it easier for the healer.

| Been playing around with stuff more. Some nice looking builds aimed at doing 3's:
Surv
Nice control with wyvern, 22 sec CD entangle traps, scatter, imp stings (faster mana drain), readiness. Nice survivability with +15% stam, -9% dmg taken, +6% dodge (aspect of the dragonhawk makes this worth it I think). Decent burst with L&L, LR, hunter vs. wild, careful aim, imp aspects. If they make the Surv 41 pt good (they said they will be changing it after release), you could drop readiness to get it.
BM
Out of the ordinary BM 3's spec. Pretty much ignore a good number of the damage talents in favor of much improved survivability of myself and the pet (endurance, imp monkey, aspect mastery, spirit bond, surefooted). The idea being that I'm mainly there for support and drain. The Longevity talent is a focus of this build because it brings Roar of Sacrifice to 20 secs (~50% uptime, NUTS!) and Pin to 30 secs. Intim @40 secs and it has scatter too. BW will provide decent burst with Aimed Shot; though it really relies on a partner for much of the quick burst needed to down someone.
Marks
This spec makes up for less survivability and control by the sheer speed of its drain with imp stings + Chim. Chim also has nice burst damage and disarm. Survivability and control are less than the above builds, but you still get important stuff like scatter, chim disarm, readiness, entrap, surefooted, endurance as well as silence. And of course the all-important pet abilities, pin, roar of sac, intervene. This build has good burst damage on the run with a tricked-out Aimed shot + chim + arcane.
