The glyph of holy light was always 5 yds, was just a typo, I played around with it in SWP and found that out it didn't jump to other raid members. So it's kept in lines with other AoE heals in that sense.

Wait, it doesn't heal non-party members? That's weird.

It heals anyone- i was spamming it on myself in IF and some noob walked by and got it. He just meant it didn't jump farther than 5 yds.

Teah, the main factor i see is that rarely is the distance between where the tank is standing in front of the mob, and where the dps is standing in the back of the mob, 5 yds.

I'm pretty sure that glyph heals from the bacon are are returned to the bacon.

It doesn't matter if other people are healing the raid. Paladins are made to be the fastest healers, given the EXTREME emphasis on haste. They're changing our haste talent from 10% to 15% in the patch. Bacon is meant to be an activity-based HoT, meaning that the more active the paladin is, the better his HoT on the tank will be. If the paladin wants to lolspam the raid, or if he wants to focus on a few targets, it doesn't really matter.

Clearly, the paladin can put out the most healing when people are taking about 8.000-10.000 damage at a time, and are bunched up, so that he can just HL spam people for high effective hps. Bacon is still pretty damned nice regardless of what heal the paladin is using though.

Note: Apparently blizz still doesn't think holy paladins are good enough, they're giving us more healing capability and more dmg capability as one of their next class changes.

Go outside on a nice day.

I'm not sure where you read "more healing capability", but if it's the same post I read, I got the impression it was more of a change to how healing works in general, rather than necessarily "more healing" or being paladin-specific. Which I'm pretty excited about because the main hesitation I have about playing my paladin is that it still seems healing could get boring quickly like back in MC.

Damn, the 9095 changes are really nice too. Paladins are 100% the best healers right now. If I can't keep up with eric with smart-targetted, full efficiency COH spam, then I don't know what to say.

After we leave the realm of explicitly designed fights for COH (naj/bb/felmyst) then I'm going disc. There was a place for COH without bacon/HLglyph/Wildgrowth, but not really any more.

Dunno what post you're referencing, but the "more healing capability" may well be in reference to PvP at the moment. Healers are pretty much useless right now in a high-DPS environment because in most cases a burst class can take down another player getting spam healed even without a healing debuff. And that's just ridiculous and makes arenas retarded from a healing perspective (see: the new RMP 3v3 and ret/arcane/mutilate triple dps).

the even worse part is with arenas constantly lagging, its 100% impossible to heal through damage (i dont even know when people are dying half the time. lol balance though, starfall stun is OP)
